Casino Night 2018 will be Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Round Rock Sports Center! Dinner/Drinks at 6PM Games 7PM-10PM Live Auction immediately following games Casino night ends at 11PM We are looking for business that would like to sponsor the event or donate items to the silent and live auction.  Casino Night is our primary fundraiser.  We use the money raised to help fund the baseball program. Pre-tryout meeting Set for Wednesday Nov 28, 2018

All those planning on participating in baseball tryouts in the spring, need to attend a pre-tryout meeting on November 28, 2018 in the Dragons Lair in the 400 GYM. Performance Course Workout Information Now available

Performance Course Flyer- Click Here RRHS Dragon Baseball is partnering with Performance Course during the fall to offer athletic performance improvement training beginning November 5 through January 18.  A total of 30 workouts for $200 will be offered.  These workouts will be targeted for baseball specific movements patterns and any RRHS student athlete  grades 9-12 wanting the focus on baseball specific movements can participate.  Please understand this is designed for those not participating in another sport. Dragons Knock Off Hendrickson 7-3 The Round Rock Dragons took the nightcap Friday night 7-3, giving the Dragons a 2-1 series win over the Hawks. Hendrickson opened the scoring with a run in the top of the first and led until the Dragons took the lead for good, scoring four runs in the in the bottom of the fourth. The big blow for the Dragons was a two-run homer by Jared McKenzie. Bush Throws Shutout to Even Series With Hendrickson Cameron Bush shut down Hendrickson, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Round Rock Dragons Varsity to a 1-0 victory on Friday night. The win evened the District 13-6A series at one apiece. Bush scattered four hits over seven innings while striking out four and walking none. Coach Carter’s 300th Career Win Pushes Round Rock into 6A Region 2 Semi-final

In an amazing Game 3, the Dragons scored three runs in the seventh inning and shut down a Klein Collins rally in the bottom of the inning to eliminate the Tigers. The win advanced the Dragons to the 6A Region 2 Semi-final versus the winner of Rockwall Heath and The Woodlands High School. In 2016 the Tigers eliminated the Dragons in a very tight Area-Round matchup. The win by the Dragons was Coach John Carter’s 300th career win, all at Round Rock, his alma mater. Gutsy Performance by Malone Not Enough as Dragons Fall 2-1 In Game 2

Luke Malone threw a gem in Game 2 but the Tigers scratched out a run in the bottom of the 9th to force a deciding game 3 in a Region 2 Quarterfinal Friday afternoon. After Klein Collins took the lead in the fourth, the Dragons tied the game with a single run in the sixth. After Jordan Williams and Dalton Watts reached on errors, Williams scored on a sacrifice fly from Aidan Shepardson as the throw to the plate bounced off Williams’s helmet to knot the game at 1-1. Dragons Defeat Klein Collins 3-0, Take 1-0 Lead in Regional Quarterfinal

The Round Rock Dragons combined a single run in the first and two insurance runs in the sixth with outstanding pitching from Grant Miller to a 3-0 win over Klein Collins, taking a 1-0 lead in the 6A Region 2 Quarterfinal. Due to possible bad weather on Saturday the two teams will meet Friday at 5:00pm in Mumford for Game 2. A Game 3 if necessary would be 30 minutes after Game 2. The win moved the Dragons record to 26-6 and another win would match them up with the Rockwall Heath-The Woodlands HS winner in the Region 2 Semifinal.
