Round Rock broke through late, scoring four in the sixth and three in the seventh to knock off the Cougars 7-2 in the first game of the Brenham Alumni Tournament. The game was tied at zero with Round Rock batting in the top of the sixth when Aiden Shepardson doubled, driving in two runs. Grant Miller didn’t allow a single run as Round Rock defeated Kingwood Park 1-0 on Friday March 3. Miller allowed just four hits and induced a double-play from Tommy Ivey to end the game.
